Make Monday Easy With These Weekend Chores

It’s amazing how completing a few tasks during the weekend can transform a Monday. On top of paving the way for a more productive week, it also gives you some much needed peace of mind. It’s no secret that juggling a family & a career is no easy task. Most people are running to catch up with daily duties, & spring cleaning is no exception. Since we are already swamped, the first thing to get neglected is house cleaning.

This makes every week a hectic game of catch up, but a few weekend chores can put a stop to this cycle. By staying ahead of the curve, it’s easy to avoid running to catch up. The only thing stopping most people is time, so it’s ideal to start with quick 20 minute or less tasks. For this reason, we have compiled a list of easy ways to get ready for a big week. They can give anyone a head start, so prepare to revamp your game plan!

Weekend Chores That Improve Any Monday

Weekend Chore #1: Wash Windows – Since our eyes are drawn to windows, this is the first place to start. Grabbing a bottle of Windex is easy, but finishing the job is easier said than done. It’s easy to lose hope before completing the project, so break it up into sections. Start by cleaning all the windows in a single room. Once you see how easy it is, you will want to tackle another room’s windows!

Weekend Chore #2: Clean Mirrors – The bathroom is an easy place to avoid, but it’s a surprisingly great place to make headway. Start by wiping down the mirrors, it provides a quick way to get things rolling. It only takes a few minutes, so clean the bathroom counters while you are at it!

Weekend Chore #3: Tackle a Cabinet – If your closet is ground zero, this simple trick will help you wrestle it back under control. Start by picking a cabinet & go one drawer at a time. Once you have organized one drawer, move onto the next. Don’t stop until the entire cabinet is finished, it goes by quicker than you think!
