The Acorn Table – New from Shiner

Yesterday, we introduced Shiner, a new line of modern, eco-friendly furniture available at Inmod.com. Today we’re featuring a product from Shiner – the Acorn Table.

The teardrop shape of the table is covered in wood, hardwoods and birch plywood, and is available in your choice of finish. The top of the Acorn Table is made of white plexiglass and has a light inside that illuminates through the top and peeks through the outside hardwood as well. The light is controlled by an on/off switch with a convenient 15-foot cord. The Acorn Table uses a 75-watt A Bulb.

As mentioned in yesterday’s post, all of Shiner’s products, including the Acorn Table are made in the United States. The hardwood and birch plywood used for the Acorn Table is taken from leftover scraps, destined to meet a landfill. Similar to all of Shiner’s pieces, the Acorn Table is made using environmentally friendly manufacturing processes that use low energy and low labor.
