This morning I came across this article: The Fattiest Foods in America. If you have a second to read it, be prepared to be disgusted. Did you know there’s a salad at IHOP that is over 1500 calories?! A salad!!!
Anyway, the foods listed are all at chain restaurants and the article brings up the point that restaurant food can be quite questionable in its healthiness. So, this made me think why not just cook as many meals at home as physically possible? Which then of course made me think about having a nice dining room to dine in. Do you think having a nicely furnished and decorated kitchen or dining room would inspire you to stay at home for dinner more often?
The real question here is, do you prefer to decorate with a dining room set and have a complete look without much thinking? Or do you prefer to find a dining table that you know you won’t be able to live without and then match it with chairs that make you feel the same way? I read somewhere the other day that more and more people are choosing to mix and match furniture on their own.
Sets are perfect for those that may not have the time to seek out the perfect combination, or for those that just don’t have a good eye. Either way, its your preference. So tell us, what’s yours? Do you prefer a dining set or would you rather mix and match on your own?
