Headboards: Tufted or Untufted?

When it comes to headboards, it’s important to ask yourself: to tuft or not to tuft?

Shown above are two upholstered headboards: the Palisades Upholstered Headboard and the Uptown Upholstered Headboard. As you can see, the Palisades is upholstered and adorned with several diamond-shaped tufts, while the Uptown is upholstered and detailed with a border of nailheads.

If you had to choose one of the two: which would it be? The plush tufts or the straight sleek upholstery?
